Napolitano Campaign Refuses To
Respond To Debate Requests
On Friday, September 22, 2006, Nathan Sproul, General Consultant for the Len Munsil for Governor campaign sent a letter to Noah Kroloff, Campaign Manager for Ms. Napolitano’s campaign, concerning the debate schedule. To date, Ms. Napolitano’s campaign has not responded to that letter.
Mr. Hess has agreed to all 10 dates proposed by Mr. Munsil. The first of these debates will occur on Saturday, September 30, 2006 in Show Low. The Show Low debate will take place in the Show Low Public Library at 3:30pm. The debate will be moderated by Show Low Mayor Rick Fernau.
According to Nathan Sproul, “it is becoming apparent that Ms. Napolitano’s strategy is to ignore the voters of Arizona and refuse to debate Mr. Munsil. If she doesn’t attend the debate tomorrow in Show Low, she will send a strong message to eastern Arizona that she isn’t concerned about the issues that impact them.”
