The eagerly awaited straw poll results from the Conservative Political Action Conference are in, and like the South Carolina results, are remarkable in this respect — they show clearly there is no consensus candidate yet, even among conservatives.
Sen. McCain won the South Carolina vote, but narrowly over Rudy Guiliani and Duncan Hunter. Romney won the CPAC vote, but with only 21 percent, and Guiliani, Brownback, Gingrich and McCain were all within 9 points. (McCain was the only candidate who did not speak at CPAC.)
