In today’s Rasmussen daily tracking poll, Mike Huckabee has tied Rudy Giuliani for the lead while John McCain, Fred Thompson and Mitt Romney are all within or close to the margin of error. For five contenders to have a chance at the nomination a month before the Iowa caucuses is astounding.
This could finally be the year when the national political conventions matter again.
