The mouth that roared strikes again. The leader of the Democratic Party, Howard Dean, tells the “religious community” to get lost in an interview with the Christian Science Monitor:
The religious community has to decide whether they want to be tax exempt or involved in politics.
Sounds like a threat to me. The notion that people of faith should be excluded from the political arena is repugnant to most open-minded Americans, and would have shocked our Founding Fathers.
