“United 93″ opens today and reminds all of us that we are still a nation at war. With a thriving national economy and baseball season underway, that’s easy to forget. We can’t afford to do that, to be lulled back into a false sense of security. That’s why this discussion we are having over border security is so significant. Fanatical terrorist groups planned for years to carry out the 9-11 attacks. Do we really think they have not noticed the potential to get men and weapons into our country through our porous southern border? Janet Napolitano’s failure to take any action to secure our border after nearly four years in office is a huge mistake, and has placed our state and our nation at risk. This is a serious problem that has not been taken seriously by this governor.
