Arizona Republic columnist Bob Robb hits it on the head in today’s column:
She may try to dance around it, but by vetoing House Bill 2675, Gov. Janet Napolitano clearly sided with the power of government to take the land of innocent private owners for private development.
The Arizona Constitution flatly forbids this. It plainly states that “(p)rivate property shall not be taken for private use.”
This is just the latest example of Janet Napolitano’s disregard for the rule of law and our Constitution.
