Our family walked our first parade in Prescott Saturday. Sen. Kyl, Congressman Renzi and other political figures were there, including our current Governor. We had a truck decorated with Munsil signs, and a contingent of 40 to 50 walkers wearing “Munsil for Governor” red T-shirts. We were pleased to receive an enthusiastic response from the large crowd, estimated at about 8,000. Of course it helped to have Senate President Ken Bennett, who is from Prescott and very well known and liked, riding a bicycle with a huge front wheel emblazoned with our signs and bumper stickers, and yelling “Vote Munsil for Governor!” to the crowd.
