Tonight we receive news that British police have so far thwarted a potential major terrorist attack on airplanes flying from Great Britain to America.
We cannot lose sight of the fact that we remain a nation at war. Islamic terrorists continue their efforts to kill Americans and strike on our soil.
These are serious times that call for serious, tough leadership. I remain stunned that 5,000 or more people cross our borders unlawfully every day at a time when we know that committed terrorists are continuing to enter our country so they can kill massive numbers of Americans.
And apparently, Janet Napolitano is still OK with that. I am not.
I can and would secure the border quickly after assuming office in January. Janet Napolitano will not. It’s that simple.
