Janet Napolitano’s TV ads are on the air. In 60 seconds, she takes credit for eliminating a deficit and creating a surplus, cutting taxes, improving education, cracking down on crime and sending the National Guard to the border.
She forgot to mention a few things:
we have the worst crime rate in the nation;
she opposed sending the National Guard to the border;
she opposed tax cuts;
we only have a surplus because we didn’t follow her budgeted spending;
educational outcomes are declining.
Other than that, it’s a great spot.
