One of the few things I have in common with Janet Napolitano is this — we were both born on November 29 (although six years apart). So as my family helps me celebrate my 43th birthday Wednesday — if celebrate is the right word (“Dad, you are really old!”) — I’ll be remembering Gov. Napolitano’s 49th and wishing her well. Remember, 49 is the new 39. Or something like that.
I’d feel better about this mid-40s thing if I wasn’t still limping from last week’s Turkey Bowl.
