This New York Times story is another unpleasant reminder that we are still at war.
Democrats will use it to argue that President Bush’s efforts have been ineffective. Nothing could be further from the truth. Imagine where we would be had we not waged an all-out war in Afghanistan and Iraq to capture or kill terrorists associated with Al Qaeda.
