Despite their last four games, we should acknowledge that this young group of overachieving Diamondbacks accomplished two things no one thought possible at the beginning of the year — winning the National League West and getting us to like Sedona Red.
For those of you who enjoy losing baseballs in the snow, have fun watching the World Series. For me, I’m enjoying the first half of football season. The three teams I care about — my alma mater, my middle son’s high school team and my youngest son’s Pop Warner team — are a combined 19-1 so far this season. Almost as hot as the Rockies.
