Spent the afternoon and evening in the old Pueblo, meeting with some of the city’s key political and business leaders and speaking at a house party. The growth in southern Pinal County and in the suburbs of Tucson is extraordinary, and there seems to be an air of enthusiasm about Tucson’s future. There will soon be one million people in the Tucson metropolitan area.
