So now we know the government paid more than $20 million in fraudulent shipping charges without noticing things like a nearly million dollar charge to mail two 19-cent washers.
The liberal media will try to turn this into a Pentagon issue, but It’s not a defense issue. It’s a big government issue. It is a symptom of a government so large and bureaucratic that waste, fraud and abuse are inevitable. (At the rate we are growing government in Arizona, these types of abuses are undoubtedly happening already here.)
Corruption in government is only possible because we have allowed government to take more and more power and money from the people. Until we elect a majority of Congressmen and women who take the notion of limited government seriously, expect to see more stories highlighting waste, fraud and abuse.
