Considering that hundreds of millions of radical practitioners of Islam believe it is their duty to God to kill or convert all Christians, making peace will be difficult. If these Islamic clerics are serous, they should direct their plea for peace at those terrorists who should be under their spiritual authority, rather than at Christian leaders.

Pancho, you miss the point. Serious Christians DO want to make peace. Islamic fundamentalists do not. When followers of Christ start strapping bombs to their bodies and blowing up Islamic women and children, I will pay more attention to moral guidance directed at Christians by Islamic clerics.
