It’s good to see Sen. McCain and Gov. Palin altering the Republican Convention to focus on the hurricane threat, calling on all Americans to pray and take action to help.
But after watching the latest Obama music video, with all its Messianic symbolism, I’m wondering why Barack Obama doesn’t just walk out onto the Gulf Coast water and part Hurricane Gustav.
I realize he failed to feed the 80,000 in Denver. But if he can get Barry Manilow and Whoopi Goldberg into the same music video, maybe he is the Messiah.
The assumption shouldn’t be made that “if he can get Barry Manilow and Whoopi Goldberg into the same music video, maybe he is the Messiah” but rather, “if can convince Christians to vote for one who supports unlimited abortion, maybe he is not the Messiah”.
Ugh. First I’ve seen of this video. But the Census Bureau says that America is currently made up of approx. 68% White/15% Hispanic/12% Black/5% Asian. A quick tally of the “special guests” on the American Prayer video shows a mix of approx. 43/6/33/6 respectively, and that is not including the appearances by Obama and MLK (plus 12% I couldn’t racially identify).
My favorite is the prominent appearance of Joss Stone, a BRITISH entertainer that is not a US Citizen. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were others in that category. Why is she singing about her “American Prayer?”
I know this is probably nitpicking, but it looks to me like the folks in Obama’s Diversity Department of his campaign need to get out their math AND geography books.
