Tomorrow the Arizona Republican Party will select a new chairman. My wife Tracy and I are supporting our friend, Lisa James, for this important post.
We are proud to join staunch conservatives like Sen. Jon Kyl, Rep. Jeff Flake and John Shadegg, Treasurer Dean Martin, Sen. President Bob Burns and Speaker Kirk Adams and many others in supporting Lisa.
Do not be fooled by those who argue this is a battle between “true conservatives” and “moderates” or “RINOs.” I am a conservative, platform Republican, as are many of Lisa’s supporters.
The main responsibility of a party chairman is to raise money and register voters. We believe Lisa’s record demonstrates that she will be extremely effective in this role.
But whether Randy Pullen or Lisa James is selected tomorrow, I will support the victor and the Arizona Republican Party. I hope all others on both sides will do the same.
