DAWN IN CLEVELAND

The GOP Platform Committee was waiting at the doors of the convention center as the sun was rising in Cleveland. The hard work on the platform begins this morning. My husband, Len Munsil, is on the Subcommittee for Foreign Policy and Defense. The room is already beginning to fill with guests and members of the media.

Meanwhile, the delegates are finishing breakfast and crafting final proposed amendments to the draft platform of 2016. All must be turned in by 7:30 a.m. The delegates received the draft last night at almost 7 p.m. Late night, way-too-early morning!

That’s how the sausage gets made, at least this morning in Cleveland. Stay tuned for updates.
